Sorry didnt manage to get any pics, it was pouring down so didnt want to get the carmera broke by getting it soaking!!

Anyway It went pretty well, pony was perfect and went away from others well as he does like to follow and daughter enjoyed it, but was slightly diaapointed really. I think because of her age she was put into the lowest group which consited half of the lead reins or just off so to be honest she quite bored. They did a bit of trotting then stood around for a while doing some around the world stuff. Then a few poles on the floor and some tiny jumps. And at the end she got 1 canter. It was a shame really as the grup before would have been more suited to her as they were a bit more active. Shes been off the lead at home for 2 years now and is off doing lots of stuff like XC schooling and showjumping at shows on her own. They only thing new she learnt today was how to dismount sliding off his bum. I did fill in the forms saying what she could do but must off gone straight off her age. Ill have to send an email i think before the next training or rally so that she can be moved group i think as TBH it was a bit of wasted money today, as really dont think she3 gained anything. Maybe it was just a bit of playing it safe as shes a new member and im guessing alot of mums exageratte there little ones riding, as i was totally honest in her abilities on the form. Im sure a friendly email will sort things though.:)

Much better for her to be a little bored first time out rather than frightened out of her wits. In my experience, they do try and place the first-timers in a 'quiet' group so they can assess them properly before they go into the more exciting groups! I probably wouldn't even bother emailing as you may look like a 'pushy mum' - if she is capable I am sure they will have spotted it and made a note for next time.
