So off we went to the College of West Anglia near Cambridge to do some dressage. This was the first time that Paddy & Lordy had been anywhere to compete since they came off the racetrack. Both were very excited when we tried to tack them up and it was with a lot of trepidation that we actually got on them. Took them to the warm up area and after a while they both calmed down & worked in nicely. We just did the intro tests because cantering was probably pushing our luck, but both boys did us proud, and although they were gawping at everything, there were no fireworks. They were so well behaved, both exceeded our expectations and we came away with frillies. So pleased with them both....Now planning the next outing!
Also everyone there was really friendly and very helpful, particularly when my box wouldn't start because I had left my lights on - thoroughly recommended.
