I took Breeze to NH for their eventer trial today, i did the 2ft, 2ft 3in, and 2ft 6in. Each course contained 16 jumps first 9 were a normal SJ course the next 7 were XC/ working hunter style fences timed.
We went clear in 2ft, to come 6th with a mega twisty course, we were clear in the 2ft 3in up to 14A (XC bench) making good turns she was jumping amazing, at 14B we ran out she made too much ground in the middle, and then she set her mouth and locked onto another fence so therefore i was eliminated! but she jump fab!
In the 2ft 6in we jumped clear, one of very few but I had missed the finishing timer so i had to turn round and go through picking up 4 for crossing my tracks but we did a fab round, she didnt knock one fence down, or spook at the flowers, ducks, bunnys, XC bench or walls. She did fab even jumping a style from nearly a stand still as turns were so tight for a 16.1hh lol pictures here-
