Hiya, has anybody got any tips on how to help my 6 year remember a first ridden indiviual show. Ive made it really really simple for her, ive ran next to her for it, shes followed people and can do it prompted but just cant quite remember it without been promted. Its really simple and short so thats not prob and im sure shell be fine on the day, just wondered if theres any other mums who have tips on how they did it, its her first 1st ridden from lead rein and on Monday, we have practised loads, i do wonder if im on the outside if shes just gonna get on with it cos she has to.
Any advice would be great. :)

I draw my dressage tests out on paper but that's probably a bit boring for her. Does she has a toy horse? She could "practise" with that. I've been known the "ride" my dressage tests around the kitchen

hope it goes well, take some pictures :D

Oh yer, she was running round the riding school with the dog aswell and she did seem to remeber it, he was quite tired today as he was out last night, needed a good buck and gallop!!!:D
Might try the paper thing could do it with pretty colours would make it more interesting.
I think shes got the idea and when im not stood in the middle she wont take the easy option of waiting for me to say 'canter now'.

Oooh i will take lots of pics espeacially as ill be watching instead of leading, although i bet there a bit blurry i expext ill be shaking!!! hehe:p
