Got up bright and early this morning and rode him before wizzing off to college :)
Wow does he use himself well his leg actions are amazing he is just so amazing to ride and his canter is fantastic, haven't had a chance to jump him yet going to on wednesday.

If everything goes well we will bring him to Home Farm to do a little bit of showjumping on Friday, its a lovely quiet little show centre and friendly and I think he'll enjoy going to a party :)

He may be a little bit too much for me though, he is a very 'hot' pony and I may be absolutly fine but won't know for a week or so we are in no hurry with him so can take as long as we want. We pulled his mane though as it must have been about 8 inches long and he looks very smart.

The suprise...

Speaking to my mum about the stunning little puppies that Andy's owners have just had and she said I may be able to have one for christmas :D :D :D Very extremly excited they are lovely little springer pupps, not sure weather its a good idea with Benjie aswell though but Benjie is my dads dog so it might work out okay :D

Congratulations on your new horse, he sounds lovely!!! Good luck for jumping too on Wednesday, may see you there on Friday :D Can't wait to see pics of puppy and some more of your new horse!!!

Sounds good. Andy is such a top name. :D So long as he's honest, you'll get used to him being a bit hot. I think you're going to have so much fun with him. :)

Getting up early to ride before College is dedication indeed :)
It sounds as though he is a lively boy, as you said it is early days and it's great that you have time to see if you suit each other in the long term.
A new puppy too !! How exciting. I am sure the HHO'rs will be more than happy to suggest names, if you need any inspiration:)

Agree, so long as he is safe...won't bolt off etc you will get used to him being quite hot, those ones are the most fun anyway :)

Thank you everyone, yes he does seem very honest and does have very good brakes, better then Koko :p but the slightest bit of leg contact and he thinks it means canter so I'm going to work on him learning that leg doesn't always mean canter! Its making it literally impossible to get a nice outline :p

As for dedication, I prefer the mornings, its quieter and I don't have any of the nasty liveries bitching about me and watching :)

Koko hun i have a big smile on face im so pleased for you - just take it slow and get to know andy. Dont think will all come together in a week or so -could take weeks/months but if hes honest and kind hes worth playing with - but pleased he sounds a nice little chappy :) xxx

So good to see you so happy! :D

Im sure he will settle and becomea little less 'hot'. But a bit of spark aint always a bad thing! :p (as long as its not dangerous of course)

And a new puppy!!!!! Thats so cooool!!! :D I'm going through the process of adopting a springer spaniel from arescue organisation. They are gorgeous!! But take lots of walking!! lol

Have fun on wed! :)

devilwoman- Thank you, will definatly keep it up I also think he will be better once he's turned out as he's been in for 24 hours when I rode him due to no insurance yet and we didn't want to turn him out and get kicked :p

babymare- thank you so much :) I have big one on my face too I just love having a horse again, I think I was having withdrawal symptons :p

emily- I do love a bit of spark it will just take some getting used to :) I do love spaniels, we have a cocker and hes looney but the most affectionate thing ever!
