I have just had my first lesson since a nasty fall five weeks ago. As my fall happened when I mounted (horse bolted with me half on, got knocked unconcious, split head open etc) I nearly bottled it when faced with mounting block and horse (hogged - no mane to grab :)). Got on after a bit of whingeing/panicking and had a lovely lesson. Horse behaved impeccably, I now feel that I WILL be able to get my confidence back and buy another neddy to love :D

Very well done you! You`ve taken the biggest step by putting your foot in the stirrup. It`s scarier than some may imagine, getting back in the saddle after an accident. Well done!

Good on you, I know all too well how scary it is getting back on a horse after an accident.
Take it at your pace and you'll get there, doesn't matter how long you take :D

I am so pleased for you, its a great feeling. The worst bit is now over and you did it well done you :) Take everything slowly and do not over face yourself too soon, one step at a time and it will come back it just takes a little time. Keep going and let us know how it goes :)

Well done you! It takes alot of courage to ride again after an accident, so good on you for doing it. Fingers crossed you'll continue to get more confident and get another horse again soon :)

Well done. It's never easy getting back on after an accident. It'll take a few rides to gain your confidence back providing you don't put too much pressure on yourself.
