I'm so very pleased and wanted to share these pics, today my friend who has recently sold her horse came to ride ben... I had a ride in the school then she got on... I took a lovely video of her riding but it won't upload for love nor money, so here are a few stills from the video. I'm so chuffed, he seems to have really relaxed in his trot and and is no longer stargazing and is so much softer in the mouth than he was in December, but since then he has lost two caps and has settled into his neue Schule bit. My friend commented on what a soft mouth he has which made me beam with pride... And she is going to ride him on Fridays perhaps working up to two days a week later on which gives me a break and her some time out from her kids and a horsey fix...

I just wanted to share as I'm so proud of him, and I can see and feel such a massive difference and maturity in him since December... :D

It has made my mind up to sell the saddle though.... My friend has a really good lower leg and even she has trouble with it shooting forward in this saddle. :(

Thank you :) it's so good to feel him so 'pliant' and responsive, I was so chuffed with yesterday I rode him in the school today and despite the wind he went so well.... He is having a much deserved 2 days off now but my god, couldn't be more happy with his progress at the moment :)

Such a good boy, he's looking lovely :)

Thank you... He is the anti Christ to my old girl... I think that's why I love him... Not that I didn't love her, she was the most special mare I've ever known, but he is. The opposite in every way, willing, soft, a real blank canvas... If he was in any way like here I probably would have had emotional issues on my part... He's not, everything about him is fab... I look at him everytime I work him and see progress at the moment and that fills me with joy, and I see him running to the gate for work or even something as simple as opening his mouth for the bit and it makes me happy that he is happy and enthusiastic about his work.:)
