Took my 3yr Sec C filly (the one in my sig) to a Welsh show today. Managed to actually miss the class
but they very kindly let me sneak her in during the championship and the judge let me run her out in hand etc. which is all good practise. Plus she got a rosette because she was the only 3yr old (hence getting through the classes so quickly).
She reared up at the box because I had the temerity to block her view of a foal that she was staring at (which she got a smack for), and kept doing that baby thing where they scream at every horse they see - but she loaded and travelled on her own and behaved well in the ring so I was pleased with her. Now all I need is for my ears to stop bleeding ...
