Sorry if this is a little insignificant but I didn't get a lot of help in NL.

After taking the plunge and getting a horsebox we are planning our very first show.
We have found one very local to us and have decided to enter my daughter in best rider 12 years and under (can be lead) and handsomest gelding.
Can someone enlighten me on what she needs to wear. Is it navy or tweed? and does the pony need plaiting or not. He's a Welsh Section A.

Also for any extra helpful people out there what are they expected to do? I assume walk and trot if lead?

Many thanks

she could wear either. you could plait him if you wanted to.. but personally i would go with the easier mountain and moorland option. tweed jacket and unplaited! :)

in the best rider class i would think you'd just do a short walk and trot show. and as for the handsomest gelding they will probably just walk

hope you have fun and good luck :)

Ditto Shadylady. Have fun. If your first time perhaps try to watch another class before hand and don't be afraid to ask for advice or help from others on the day. Most people should only be too happy to help.
