First Show......

Got my first show with my youngster Alee tomorrow, really nervous. Its just a small local fun show but we need to go to prepare here for some of the bigger Sports Horse and Youngstock classes we have planned for later in the year!!
More nervous about loading her really just hope she behaves for me!!!

WHao.... Your going wrong from the start.... If you think in your mind its going to be a disaster you'll be foucing on it to much and hey presto it will be! Run through the day in your head with every thing perfect then just put the event to the side in your brain. Gud luck!

She'll do you proud! If your nervous when loading her ask some body else to handle her and be in the box instead or you'll upset her.

What I do as im terrified of transporting horses!

I often find they are good at their first then they get to know it's a party and start to play

Its already started off bad though! I'm currently ringing round to find an inhand bridle to use!! Unfortunatly the one I am getting hasn't arrived

. Its not a problem though as I didn't think it would just hoped really!!!
Have found one now though but not sure if she has a lead rein I can use too

what could I use instead?
Its only a small fun show and a prettiest mare class so i'm sure they won't really be looking at tack.
Have decided not to plaite her as if she doesn't stand i'll just get more wound up!!
I am actually looking forward to it, as for loading I wouldn't trust anyone else
