First Show

Can anyone help me? I have a show coming up at the end of August - it will be the first one of the year and technically only the 2nd show I have taken the horse to so she is new to it all. I am looking for advice on how to make sure it is a pleasing experience - she is nappy on her own but seemed ok at a show when there was so much going on - I can't decide whether to compete or just take her for an hour or so. Would you suggest taking another horse as company?

Take her for an hour or so and if she's good do the clear round once. if you think she would benefit from a friend being there then take one however if you think the friend would be distracting the go alone.
