First SJ outing of the year

So happy to be back out doing things, I went out SJ with a friend today, planned to do 2'3 but we got there a bit early so decided to enter the 2' first. Its somewhere we usualy go in the summer (jumping in the fields) but at the moment its all done in an outdoor school, there was no warm up and the only practice jump was in the school, as you went in you could do the practice jump twice then the bell rang.
The weather was fine until we got there, we had rain and lots of it with heavy showers and hail stones
Mystic jumped really well though and we came 2nd in the 2' and 1st in the 2'3
Just thought I would share as i'm so pleased with him, he really hates bad weather and usually goes a bit loopy (excited) when we start jumping after winter.

Well done what a fab start to your season!

I am hoping to start getting my mare out jumping this year and am very excited but imagine will be terrified closer to our first event in April!!

Tilda - When I started going out jumping I was really excited until the night before when the nerves kicked in, the more I did it and got used to it the less nervous I was. Good Luck for when you start
