Hi all.

An update on my daughter (lost left leg 2 years ago) and her new horse.

Today they did their first dressage test (Intro B).

First dressage test for both of them.
First outing for horse and first time ridden on grass. They were brilliant :)

No photos of test but have a video which I will post once it is uploaded on Youtube.

Very very proud of her and her boy.

Thanks for the lovely comments which I will pass on to her. :)

She is buzzing. It is lovely to see her doing so well after such a horrendous accident. She has lots of determination and a very positive approach to life.

Wizz, she has a prosthetic leg which is for walking and is okay fro riding but she hopes to get a specialised one.

She is wearing Ariat Volante boots - the only ones she can get her prosthetic foot into.

The bit just before 3 minutes actually brought tears to my eyes, when you said Ohhh this is brilliant. Because it is. Commented on your video on Youtube too :)

Huge well done to her! A good friend of mine only has one leg, you'd never know and she's a better rider than a lot of people I know!

Utterly inspiring - what an absoloute superb young lady for not letting the loss of her leg get in the way of her passion - THAT is utter guts & determination... & they both look fantastic!!!!!!! Well done Mum aswell - utterly proud moment for you I would say...
Was it a horse related accident that resulted in your daughter losing her leg?

Aww thanks but its all down to her.

Accident was being hit by a motorbike while she was out running.
