Hi everyone,
I'm a rusty rider not ridden regularly for 30 years due to loss of confidence after accident but am still confident on the ground with horses lunging, bringing in, in the stable etc. I have just moved to a new area and due to lock down riding schools are all closed and have no honey friends here.
I've decided to bite the bullet and go for a horse of my own however due to lock down ......
how do you view a horse now
are vettings being carried out
how do you secure a place on a yard without a horse
also I have zero equipment (tack etc) so when should I buy that?
I know this makes me sound really dumb but things have changed so much in the last few years
Many thanks Amanda

You could try to look up for horses here . There is a lot of horses with private owners who can tell you everything you want to know about a horse. It's like buying a car however it sounds. I found really great stud for my horse farm in Texas there and I am pretty glad with the results.

This is a UK based forum and I'm pretty sure from her writing that Amanda is in the UK.

I'm always worried about pressing a hypertext link from an unkown user, could you please give the full URL so we can see what we are being pointed at?

Thanks.
