first time for me & my daughter

Hi all, i''m thinking about taking my daughter out hunting, just wondered what it's like, what to expect, if if would scare her (or me!) we've got a cracking pony so i know she'd be safe, how do i find out about meets, i'm near halstead, maybe best to go cubbing first but not sure who to ask about it. Thanks.

Look on the M.F.H.A website. Most packs have a website or a number at least to talk to someone about your local pack and their meets.
When i looked in the atlas i found 3 Halsteads in the country.

I think that's East Essex country....I don't know a lot about them though, sorry. If you fancy going a bit further I'm secretary of the Essex Farmers' and Union, we hunt from Chelmsford to the east and we're very friendly!! Or the Essex hunt the other side of Chelmsford, they're a good bunch too.

If you want any contacts for the Essex or EFUH then pm me....I know there are a few people who hunt with the Essex on here too.
