Hi, I've got the chance to go to a local show on sunday. Never been before but this one is hacking distance away so thought I might give it a go. Thinking of doing
Best ridden or Best coloured and then probably a fun class like Most Handsome Gelding.

Anyway can anyone tell me what I should wear? I have some cream jodhs and I can borrow a shirt and tie from hubby! I don't have a show jacket but I have a normal black suit type jacket, would this be ok? Or would I better off not wearing one? Also will horse need to be plaited? And what will I have to do for the best ridden and best coloured classes? Feeling a little nervous about riding in front of a crowd of people!!

Thanks in advance :)

What sort of coloured horse is he a traditional or non native?

You need to wear a jacket black will be ok for local but a tweed would look more correct can you borrow one?

Hello, I just had a few questions, I'll be horse riding at a co-worker in Apknite company's place who owns 2 horses in the next month. I hear a lot about people falling off their horse and ending up in a coma or something and kinda had a worry.
What are some things I should keep in mind as a first-time rider?

Same things as when you cycle a bike, go running etc, you can suffer injuries by falling down anywhere, so wear the best protection you can on a horse.
