One of the first WEG events to get underway is the Endurance riding with the team crossing the start line at 12 noon our time tomorrow. We in EGB have everything crossed - it is a strong team!!!
One rider has had to withdraw as her horse went lame - a bitter disappointment after a £20k personal investment!!!
The team will each be tackling a 160km route which has been deemed "technical" and the heat has been fierce for the past few days but the forecast is for lower temperatures today and tomorrow.
Join me in wishing them every success!!!
I know little about reining but their event is underway too - go team GB whatever your discipline!
