Hi everyone,

I have just brought a 1 yo colt, i have been helping my friend with hers and she offered me Joey. He was purchased off travelers as he was going to be going for meat and my friend doesnt want that so she helps them.
Getting back to the point, I need help as i need to find the best places to get things done so please let me know where you would best suggest and what sort of prices they are.
* Gelding once his bits have dropped.
* Passporting and microchipping.
* Insurance.
* Best vets to go to.

I also would like peoples opinions on what sort of things that will make our bond stronger, activities for us both to do that are fun and exciting. I will be starting to walk him out soon with my friend and another young colt.

I am in Leicester near Oadby. If you can help please give me some advice.
Thank you, Emma

You need to choose a Veterinary practice in your area that deals with equines. Phone your closest Vet and ask them if they do, if yes, then you can register with them. If not, ring the next closest one. Once you are registered with a Vet, you can talk to them about gelding.

http://www.horsepassportagency.co.uk/ should be able to help you sort a passport.
