Fit of Axiom Rugs

Hi.

just thinking about getting one of these rugs, but dithering whether to go with a 5ft9 or 6ft.

My cob is just over 15hh, quite chunky, probably a MW but not enormously wide. He has a v. expensive rambo lightweight turnout in 6ft which fits well, but his rambo newmarket fleece which is 6ft tends to pull backwards (needs to do up tighter at the front)

I have an old fal pro in 5ft 9 which fits but doesn't want to be any smaller!

Also a rhingold harlequin stable rug which is 6ft and really big on him.
had to get rid of a 6ft Masta turnout as it really pulled back on his shoulders.

so any comparison to these brands would be fab!

It came up slightly big on my mare. She takes a 5'9 rug. I do really like the rug though

Yup, me too. I've got two designs and they come up on the slightly big side. Not huge, but if you are between sizes go for the smaller one.

Just got mine a 6'3 and fits him perfectly and he can usually take upto a 6'6

I'd say they're quite roomy and deep, which I like. My cob is 15hh, takes a 6'3.

Agree with all of the above - my boy is normally a 6'3 but the 6' fits him perfectly!
