obviously with J cutting his leg and the really hot weather he has been out of work for 2.5 weeks.
He wasnt in much work before that really if im honest. Maximum 4 hacks a week 20 mins each.
He has got a bit chunky. He is out from 2pm to 6am with a fair bit of grass, he doesnt really touch his hay when in. He has had to have 2 small feeds for his meds but this will end on Saturday.
He is 6 in August.
What should I be aiming to do (hacking mainly with maybe one pole work session a week) to help up his fitness and help him get trimmer?
Still new to the area im hoping to get to know more hacking routes. Currently know 2 that are only 30 mins long but include a fair few hills (roadwork and tracks)
