Would somebody be able to advise a fittening programme for my pony please?

Rising 6 (officially in May)
Backed at 4 and only gently hacked since then roughly twice a week, mainly walk and trot not a huge amount of canter. Not done any proper schooling or started jumping.
Very good doer, currently slightly over weight. No hard feed, soaked hay, daily turn out all year, stabled at night.
Would like to progress his schooling, introduce jumping if possible, get some weight off and build up some muscle/ strength/ general fitness. Access to lots of hacking but no school at the yard.
Any advice is much appreciated.
