I've finally bought myself a loader (mf80) for my little 35. I'm having a problem working out where the pipes go from the control.

The short one to the tractor hydraulics is easy, but where do the others get routed? Any help would be gratefully received :)

I see you probably need to become a member of the Friends of Ferguson to post. But here's another where you only need to register to participate but it is free. American, I'm afraid, but usually quite good. I have an MF135 which is similar to the 35 and to attach a loader I think I'd need a diverter vale or a spool block. You could also try the farming forums and possibly arbtalk.

I put a 'help' ad in the market place of Friends of Ferguson...

Thanks for the tractorbynet link, I'll register and ask. I've joined the british farmers forum and forgot about arbtalk -they've given me answers before

Hopefully I'll find something with all that to look at!

The spool valve block for the loader has a pipe feeding iit and a return pipe .The MF 35 does not have a return port. What most peope do is take the large hexagonal filler plug (next to the gear levers ) drill a hole and either tap it to take a hydraulic fitting ,or braze a fitting to it.This is merely a return and is not under pressure. Glad you think the first pipe is simple. I suspect that ,as yet ,you havnt discovered that if you try to simply connect to the normal hydraulic service , your 3 point linkage will go up and down every time you try to use the loader. You need a diverter valve fitted .Next to the filler plug is a small casting held by two bolts ,this is where the diverter valve would be fitted. Alternatively you can hold the 3 point linkage up using the T frame used for the towing hook . This would enable you to hang the concrete counterweight block .

Oops, I haven't looked at that yet, it just easy to see where the pipe goes! I am hoping that the diverter valve is already there as it came off another 35, with 'all the valves and connectors included'

Do you know if the pipes go under the tractor?
