Fitting of be nice halter.....

Got one today for the shire x. It's a small draught size and fits him well and already he is leading better and paying more attention when we had a training session today.

Just a quick question about where the plastic slide bit goes? Does it go right up by their jaw.

Before a big debate starts I know lots of people don't like them but need something to make him think when he decides to take off whilst being led xx

The plastic bit goes up far enough to leave some slack but prevent the lower part falling down past the horses chin.

Think I did it right then, had the plastic bit almost up by his jaw but not tight xx

It needs to be quite slack as this halter works by relaxing as a reward.
