I recently bought some tendon boots for my mare, and am now worrying i have bought the wrong size- not delivered yet!!! bought from ebay- she has 7.5" bone and is 9" from knee to fetlock but I ordered gallop tendon boots which come up as 10" long as a cob fitting, pony seemed so small, as she is a haflinger she has lots of bone can anyone advise would these be too long if they are an inch over or would anyone recommend not to use

Thankyou
I know it sounds ignormant but wanted general opinion.xx

I'm afraid the only way to test is to try them on

If you put your finger on the back of the top and pick her leg up, if your finger is pinched when in tucked position they are too long.

The ones cut with a V/U at the top are the best if your horse needs a good diameter, but not the length.
