I work mine 6 days and tend to work it that day 1 hack, day 2 canter work, day 3 flat work, mainly loosening off and a short hack, day 4 jumping, day 5 flat work/ hack depending on horse day 6 canter work. It doesn't always work out like this and does depend on the horse but I like them to do two good canters a week, hope this helps
What level eventing? A program for a BE90 will be very different to a Novice which will be very different to an advanced. Also, what is the age of the horse and current fitness level? You need to define where you want to get to and where you are starting from and THEN someone/you can plan the route!!
My horse is currently fit enough for just the start of the season. Jumping BE80/BE90. He is 14.2hh welshxwarmblood. He is 10 years old. I want him fit enough to be able to meet time limits cross country with more in the tank. I have limited time so would be grateful if you have any suggestions.
