6. - Once you've past your home check and parted with your hard earned cash. You either:
A) Get to bring home the best, most loyal and wonderful companion you will ever have the pleasure of sharing a house with. (My first rescue dog :D)
B) Find out that the person who performed the dogs assessment wore rose tinted glasses and everything you have been told about the dog is a lie. You are then encouraged to return the dog with no refund and lots of heartache. (second dog we rescued).
 
I can only speak as I have found and this is it.

Leo private rehome exactly as I was told.

Fred had gone back to breeder with behavourial problems, came to me exactly as described.

Diesel & Darcy came from Dobermann Welfare exactly as told and they couldnt have been nicer, I think where a breed rescue is concerned and with a dog like a Dobermann the right home is important and they assess the dogs very thoroughly.
