Does anyone know of a brand of riding hat where the fixed peak would break/fold if you fell on it?
I read this blog earlier http://www.rosiemossequine.co.uk/news
....and the bit at the end about the fixed peak drew me up short! I've long suspected they weren't as safe as skull caps, but have persevered with them simply because they look more stylish!! Got my priorities wrong there I suspect!
It does seem illogical to have a safety hat with a hard bit stocking out at the front, when you really think about it.
Grateful for any thoughts on the matter!
