I have bought a saddle to start my young horse after my saddler took a look and advised what would fit.
I got this Thorowgood pony long leg at a good price as the skirts are separating like in the picture. This one is the worst, but the sealant material on the other side that holds the two pieces together is starting to open up on the other side a little too.
Can it be repaired? Can a saddler seal it back up again? I’m not sure since it is plastic and not leather. Not the end of the world if not as it is purely cosmetic and my thigh will cover it when I am on.
