Flash nosebands

The shire x cob I ride likes to open his mouth and on occasion set his jaw and tank off with you. I'm thinking a flash would stop this potentially?

He's ridden in a fulmer snaffle xx

I am not a fan of flash nosebands as they are often fitted too tight and they lie ove the line of the nostrils. They can impair breathing if fitted too tight. I much prefer drop nosebands for horses that open their mouths, although before resorting to either, check that he is happy with his bit as often pnce you get the bit right, the mouth opening and jaw crossing stops.
