Ha I was just having a quiet moment to myself when I remembered a while ago a lady who has lessons on the yard was watching me ride my gelding and then my mare. They're both ex-racehorses and were very fresh as they hadn't been out in a few days.

I was sat there giggling as my mare was bunny hopping and half passing all over the place having a mad half hour.
My gelding was just very forward, throwing a few bucks in every now and again.

Then this certian lady had the cheek the comment for me to "downsize" from 2 16.2 TB's to a 13HH pony as I don't have the skills/equitation to handle them under saddle - despite them behaving like angels after having their mad half hour.

Now I've had my fair share of snide comments but this lady taken the biscuit.
When she seen me bringing my 12.2 Welsh B in from the field and she commented "more like it" and she was having a giggle her with older (40+) horsey group of friends.

Disgusted with her cheek I complained to the YO who told me not to take it personally as she's a novice.
So later that day I decided to have a spy on her on a lesson.
I kid you not, reins like washing lines. Horse constantly snatching reins and pulling them out of her hands, legs like jelly, lower leg pushed around 5" from behind the girth and couldn't even rise in trot without leaning forward.

She caught me having a peek and I give her a sarcastic look and she hasn't said anything since ;)

Some people hey?
Thought I would share this lovely enlightening moment with you all!
