Hi
Does anyone know how to tell if your horse is flat footed?

She recovering from an abscess and worried about the heel bulbs too.

If I need to attach more pictures please let me know and I will post?

Is this any better?

sadly not. :)

if you look on this link (forget all the writing) it will show you the pics that are needed. Before you take them really scrub the hoof clean, use a hoof pick to clean out the grooves each side of the frog and clean the central sulchus (that is the depression in the back of the middle of the frog at the heels). Also clean around the White line (where the wall joins the sole) with a horseshoe nail or similar. Pick out any gravel or gunge and get it really clean so we can see if it is healthy.
do that for each unshod foot and label the shots as to which foot they come from ie LF, LH, RF and RH.
