Looking for somewhere where I could have a flat lesson or two on a schoolmaster-ish-type (ie not just a riding school donkey) with a good instructor. I'm an experienced rider and work with horses too, I have a youngster at the moment so nothing of my own to have lessons on, but really want to keep working on my riding in general.

Any recommendations? Central Scotland area :)

Thanks in advance x

Thanks for your replies :)

I did think about Gleneagles but its a wee bit pricey :(

Jnhuk - who is the trainer there? I'm a competent rider, but definitely with plenty bad habits, haven't ever competed dressage so couldn't specify a level as such!

Has anyone had any experience of Easterton Farm at Blackford? Have looked on their website and you can hire a school horse for lessons with a trainer, I like the sound of Pat Taylor having looked at her website too..

Thanks :)

Anne Montgomery. Have a look at Appin's website for blurb as been about ten years since I visited there. Good instructors and good horses.

PM me if you anywhere near Edinburgh city bypass
