Has anyone used on of these FLEA DETECTOR - if so, do they work? How about these flea traps - FLEA TRAP ?

My terriers are having terrible trouble with fleas at the mo, I think that they are picking them up from the feral cats at the stables, the pups are frontlined to the hilt and we are treating cats that we can, but there are always some that you can't get hold of

One of the pups in particular is really sensitive and the period before the Frontline gets them drives him mad.

I am washing their bedding all the time, I don't have carpets in the lounge / kitchen (they don't go upstairs) just laminate floor and my sofa is leather.

Any tips gratefully received!

No idea about those products working or not. If frontline isn't keeping on top of them (which does surprise me are you using the right weight product for the dogs weight (i.e not underdosing using a pippette for a dog upto 10kg on a dog weighing 12kg??)) Otherwise try Advantage, I have used this in the past and have never had fleas. http://advantage.petparents.com//
It will require a prescription as it is a POM (prescription only medicine).

Hi there,

The Frontline is working, but it doesn't stop the fleas jumping on, and my little boy terrier is very sensitive. I was thinking that the traps may help catch any strays and I could run the detector (if it works!) over the dogs morning and evening to minimise any contact with fleas at all.
