Fleas! Help!

Tonight found at least half a dozen fleas on both dogs!! :( Where the hell they came from beats me as both are Frontlined (emm, last done in early June, so is it too early to do them again now? can anyone advise?).

The only thing I can think is that this morning I cleaned out an old hayshed ready for some more to go in and of course both dogs thought that was tremendous fun! So perhaps they picked them up in there, but can't think how - we've gotta cat (not ours) that comes in sometimes so perhaps they picked up fleas from the cat?

Soooo, has anyone got any good sprays to use for the house? Anything I can put on the dogs to deal with the problem - sprays or whatever? I've given them both a Tea Tree bath - found the fleas AFTER the blimmin bath would you believe.

What can I buy at say Mole Valley or whatever? Can anyone recommend a powder?

I have jsut done my lot, with the pump action spray (I actually prefer the spray over the spot on, and I use Indorex household spray, do skirting,dog beds, all materials, behind radiators and your car if they get in there.

The stable cleaning would certainly have done it, OH was messing about in our hay shed yonks ago and was bitten to death on his legs.

I do the cats with the spray aswell, I get the mahussive 500ml bottle.
 
If Mrs Hedgehog or Mr Rat have made a home in there..then so have their little friends, had the same thing under a kennel this year so it was jacked up ,swept out and RIP sprayed.The adjoining dogs were done with Frontline Combo.Job Done.
 
I am so glad that someone else is struggling this year. Ticks are my bug bear. Frontline should be redone ever 6 weeks by the way...

Mine are frontlined to the day, they have regular baths and last night I still pulled over 100 ticks in various sizes out of one of mine. I don't know why but she always get covered in the things it drives me mad! Then this morning I pulled another 12 out... Gah! I am spending over an hour each day going through them with a fine tooth comb to make sure they don't have any left before they tuck up under my douvet! I don't mind them sharing the bed with me but I object strongly to intruders!

I would spray your house, wash and frontline your dogs and cross fingers.
 
Aaaarrrghghh!! I'm sitting here itching! Yes, have got spray stuff from the vets - huge aerosol and worth it if it does the trick!

Dogs have been done today with Frontline: cat later (LOL) - I will probably end up in casualty looking like I've tried to do myself in at the end of it.

Have vaccuumed up, "Henry" is making a funny noise and think needs his bag replaced - but will have to wait until tomorrow as none left!
