My dog came back from the dog groomer's after having her hair cut and she was riddled with fleas

In the whole time we've had her, she's only had them once until now. We treated her with some flea stuff (I can't remember the name) and made sure it was the right amount for her weight, and it was supposed to last for six months. However, the pesky b*ggers are back after under two months and I am now getting paranoid that they won't go! Yesterday I found four of the blighters jumping over me and I'm starting to get mega paranoid about them

Any ideas?? Mum won't take her to the vets because she says they charge ridiculous amounts

The only way of ridding them is through a decent flea treatment like spot on which you can probably get on line somewhere, also to de flea your home, which I have to do every year as have 2 cats and one dog

What do you find most effective yet not a stupid amount of money to spend? (Am sounding very tight aren't I?) LOL.

Can't say I've heard of a flea treatment that lasts 6 months????? Best to stick to the recommended vet ones or frontline which used to be POM (prescription only) but is now general sales, probably the only general sales flea treatment that actually works!!!!! Ensure you do the house and soft furnishings at the same time with a household spray to erradicate the blighters and larve, and ensure you re-treat at the recommended dosing intervals.
