I'm being eaten alive...but my OH has not a bite on him - why do they prefer me over him?!

Anyhow, the new puppy has arrived, vet appointment booked on Thursday for health check and first Vax. Things seemed to have move on alot since I was a VN back in the day with regards to flea treatments. Both my big dog and cat get done monthly with Frontline Spot On and the house gets done with Indorex Spray.

However, Big Dog and Cat are due for spot on...is it safe to do their treatment with the puppy in the house? Same question re the Indorex? I haven't a can to hand as just order some but want to be prepared! The house needs blitzing as these little blighters just seem to have sprung to life with the warmer weather.

Also, what do people use on puppies these days? We used to use the Frontline spray but now it seems the spot on is fine for 8 weeks and up is that right?

*itchy itchy*

Yes spot on from 8wks however the new recommendation is advocate spot on not frontline as this is the only licensed product to treat lungworm. This also treats fleas, lice, ear mites, mange, round worms. We rarely sell frontline now. Xxxx I'm sure it's treat to safe tour others as long as puppy doesn't lick the application site x also remember your'll need a tapewormer too if he has fleas. Good luck x
