Fleas

Flevox is fipronil based like frontline, of which there has been noted resistance in fleas.
Try another product, even better something like advocate from the vets. Also do the house with something like acclaim or RIP fleas.

When using non-prescription spot-ons you need to tackle the environmental control with a household spray (Indorex, Acclaim, RIP Fleas etc.)

Alternatively switch to a prescription product with this built in (Advocate, Stronghold etc.)

RIP Fleas is excellent. You need to treat the animals then the house several times. I spray one room at a time, including along the skirting board, all soft furnishings, lift cushions up, spray under and into all accessible parts of sofa etc, finish with a spray in the air so it drops everywhere. Close the door, leave for a couple of hours, go in and Hoover thoroughly. Repeat twice over a week or so to get the newly hatched fleas.

We had a similar issue last year. Flevox and frontline did nothing to protect against fleas, nor did the environmental treatments for the home. We were driven mad for a couple of months trying to get rid of them.
In the end we got advocate from the vets AND used a local council approved pest control company. They were brilliant and it certainly killed all fleas, juvaniles and eggs. It's so important to get rid of ALL fleas in the home too as you are fighting a losing battle if not! Even if the dog/cat is protect...humans aren't!
Your local council website should have approved pest control companies and they aren't too pricey at all.
I have always used prescription flea stuff since our fiasco and have had no problems since. There are a lot of products that just don't work on the market unfortunately
