Does anyone have these and can say they have really helped with old knees or aching joints? I previously had Freejump Airs but they were just rubbish quality so don't know if they actually helped my aching knees.

I have the le mieux version (cheaper but with the same style and shock absorbers) and much prefer them to the free jumps. I found the free jumps would make me ache after an hour or so whereas I’ve spent up to 3 in there before without a problem. I’ve also found my toes don’t tend to go numb in them as they normally would in winter - not sure if it’s the combo of the wide footbed and the shock absorbers?

Is that the Vector balance or Vector Control ones?

Yes I've got them and they definitely help sore knees. I used to be virtually crippled after an hour's jumping lesson. With the Flex-ons I have no pain at all. There are lots of threads on here about them. You can trial them from some places before shelling out for them.

Been using Flex-ons for a couple of years now and wouldn't be without them. Before I rode with the Sprenger flexi stirrups but I find the Flex-ons to much better - I have had an ACL reconstruction on my left leg and a badly broken ankle on my right leg which is pinned.

Wouldn't part with my flex-ons for anything - they help enormously with knee, hip and ankle (arthritis) pain for me and I really, really notice the difference if I ride without them now!
