I am an absolute sucker for good marketing and new trends. And flex on stirrups have caught my eye.

I only really do dressage these days. I don’t have any knee or ankle problems, but do have a tendency to grip with my lower leg, particularly in sitting trot. This makes my stirrup flap around sometimes but it’s nothing major.

I currently have Tech stirrups, which I like. But I’m wondering about getting flex ons for Christmas. Otherwise maybe new sunglasses for the Cyclopes pony

Are they worth it? Any experiences? Any good alternatives?
Thanks!

Definitely. My friend/trainer laughed at me when I got my first pair but after riding my horse with them she went out and bought a pair for herself.

I love mine,. I was dubious about them but I got a gift voucher and decided to try them and I think they are amazing. I do a lot of xc and I find the grips work really well in water and rain, I never seem to lose my stirrups now or slip out of them. I find landing after jumps in them a lot easier too, I hate riding in other stirrups now.
