FlexEE saddle

I like them the same I think but for different reasons. I cannot ride in a treed saddle (very wonky body falling apart) and I find the fhoenix more comfortable and forgiving but I also find the flexee comfortable and supportive. I use them on different horses for different reasons and I jump in my flexee and do dressage in a flexee too.
Oh and I do endurance in my fhoenix. The flexee is a very good all round saddle but I wouldn't cope doing endurance in it. I couldn't jump in a fhoenix.
Not a very helpful answer :-)

I have one and love it comfiest thing I have ever sat in. I'm not too keen on jumping in it though!

I did try a phoenix and although it was ok it felt wide. I also found they come up slightly small and only come in full sizes so I needed an 18 rather than a 17. From a comfort and leg/ general position point of view they are great

I tried one, me no likey!!!

I actually thought is was fairly uncomfortable, it didn't make my horse move any differently to my treed saddle, the stirrup bars are too far back, the one I tried was used but not 'old' but it looked tired, I felt very 'perched'. Even though the person who brought it along has trained to fit the saddle, they couldn't really get the panels in the right place for my horse, I don't like the feel of any synthetic saddle and this was no different.

I think I'll stick with my lovely comfortable 2nd hand leather treed saddle :)

I've got one, not too sure about it so far. It was bought for my youngster, who hated it, for the first time ever got snappy and edgy to girth up. But she loved the Fheonix, which I didn't get on with, and has now acquired part shares in my Vogue. The older mare, who the Vogue was bought for and who loves it, is fine about having the Flexee on and goes well in it too. I'm not quite so keen, finding one of my knees aches in it, which is a problem I used to have on treed saddles. Going to haul her up to Heather's to get it looked at and see if the panels need fiddling with. Reserving judgement...

Interesting replies here. I am thinking of buying one for starting my youngster in. I aim to do very long hacks and a bit of endurance eventually. Those who use and like the FlexEE, do you feel secure and comfortable and do
you think it would be ok to hack at all paces for hours on end? Are there any pressure points caused by doing long sessions of rising trot for example?

I had the same experience, didn't matter which way I moved the shims around etc just felt weird, my horse didn't go nicely in it either and she's not normally fussy about saddles

I think they're horses for courses as with anything else!

I prefer my friesian in the flexee as find it gives me more stabilisation (dodgy joints) but ride my other mare in her vogue.

Wheels who fitted yours? Pm if you like!
