Flexi girth

Yes, I have the dressage version .... It`s about one of the only Griths my lad will happily wear BUT it does still slip when you mount, i don`t care what the marketing bumph says about it ....

I dont like what I see in the design, the elastic area is very narrow when more girths are now going towards a wider middle area to reduce pressure, the joins are potentially in the sensitive elbow area which could cause rubbing and girth galls. I have used girths with elastic in the middle but they are over leather so no pressure points and better distribution of any pressure.

I was very interested in one when I got my new saddle, but instead got a Professionals Choice one. It is lovely and soft, elasticated at both ends and easily cleaned. Horse seems happy with it! Saw quite a few negative reviews of the Flexigirth, including one which compared the material to being like seatbelt material, oddly that put me off the most!

Seat belt is what I thought of looking at the photos, it looks shiny and cheap, interesting that you saw poor reviews, my thoughts were it looks the opposite of most new designs possibly suited to small ponies but not horses with it being so narrow.
