Description as follows:
"The flexi rein has been developed to provide the correct starting point for a more relaxed, balanced and obedient horse. It will largely eliminate leaning on the bit, pulling, jogging, tenseness, stiffness, snatching at the reins and head tossing. It inserts easily between the bit and your reins and can easily incorporate a martingale. First adjustment for general schooling and hacking, and a second adjustment for stronger horses or for faster work where more control is needed."

The owners of my old horse used these when her son rode as his hands were not as stable as she would have liked and felt it was kind on his mouth.

I have a pair aquired them with some other odds and ends. I used them when long-reining to stop the horse snatching at me and it either worked, or he stopped... ? I quite liked the feel they gave, having thought I wouldn't.

I hav e something similar which I use occasionally to give my very crafty horse something to think about. He has a tendency to hang onto his right rein. They do the trick very well altough I don't think I would want to use hem all the time.
