Only a minor whinge really as both Amy and Flick have got it very mildly, but Flick started snorting last night and coughing this morning :( All three dogs are on a teaspoon of Manuka honey morning and evening which they love, and which really seems to help them - fingers crossed no antibs will be needed, my vets bill is quite big enough as it is :o

Hugs for PS's Oz - my girlies know how he feels :D

I had to take Ruby Springer to the vet because of her colitis. My vet doesn't have an appointment system, so you just turn up and wait....and wait....I waited for about a hour. No Problem, but when I had to go back a few days later, there was a notice on the door stating that if your dog was coughing, you should leave it in the car, come to reception and a vet would come out to the car park. Ah ha - I thought - kennel cough's about! Next thing, Ruby, who'd waited in the waiting room for an hour plus, started coughing. Back to the vet (colitis had cleared up by this time!) to get the cough treated. Vet told me that my other four would almost certainly develop a cough but, six weeks on, Ruby's no longer coughing and I haven't heard a single cough out of the rest of them! Can't believe my luck!
