So Most parts are being given a weather warning for tonight meaning more flash floods and fields becoming pools :(

Rivers bursting banks again... oh after seeing some of the damage it did last week I am hoping that those living close to rivers etc stay safe and dry.

Hope all animals are OK too with this dreadful rain thats on its way and they all stay safe at least.

and were still in a draught ???.... can't see how anymore

It's an ill wind that blows no-one any good. The rabbits that had moved from the railway embankment to the middle of my field? Under water:D

Well apparently we are still in a draught because we aren't getting the right kind off rain. This rain runs off the land stright out to sea we need the light rain or so the weather forecast was telling us. My horses were living out in march and didn't want them back in. Wishfull thinking that was hey

Mine are in. I hate to hear the lashing rain and wind on my window at night if my horses are out.

I have been bringing mine in during the day for the last 5 weeks to give them some respite and they are usually waiting by the gate in the mornings now. They have a snooze on a nice dry bed and dry off. They have only had a brief period so far this year without rugs on, since all this rain they've been continuously rugged. Thank goodness for my horseware rugs. I have yet to have a soggy horse underneath one.

ps Ducks? we've had seagulls flying around!!!

whats your weather been like then? We've been dry for the most part of the last week, and rain expected tomorrow and Friday but not too bad.

Mine are out. There was one day early last week I thought I might need to haul mine in, but the weather improved.

Che is in tonight as are 4 of his friends so we have one barn full! He's OK out but his poor field is so soggy, it now has a water feature in one corner complete with ducks and seagulls. The rest of it is just so wet under hoof, every time he takes a step you can hear the squelching and he will insist on playing "I used to be a racehorse" up and down the long side which is now cut to shreds. Still, on the plus side, at least I havent needed to use my hose pipe!!
