And I thought I'd had it bad: last night there was a lot of thunder - took power supply down (although USP device AND fan kept going so dogs FINALLY got sick of setting off the burglar alarm. Too humid to work horses - 30 minutes in and they were sweating like fury - we went through FAR more loo roll than normal! I was rather glad I'm not foaling (ever again!) or the fans would be overworked! And my brilliant farrier had bad BO for the first time since I've known hin, lol. t least the grass will be growinng rather quick - so all the topping I've done while we were VERY dry will have to be done again - and that after I'd figured out that it WAS the cause of a wedge fracture I've got in my spine (T7/T8) from looking over my shoulder too often. And it will delay my return to riding for at LEAST 6 months - at least!

I have an excuse for THAT!Corner box 2006.jpg
