Double Immage II, my ride at the 2007 Europeans has had a reoccurance of her tendon injury that kept her off the road in 2008.
She was scanned by Phil Brown at the Whitelodge Veterinary Clinic in Minehead and it seems that the leg will not stand up to another season. This is a devastating blow as the horse was on flying form and was to be aimed at Bramham U25 champs this year.
After lenghty discussions with her owner Jessica Colson, we have decided that the best course of action is to retire her completely and to put her in foal. We have not yet decided which stallion to use but I am sure she will produce some fantastic babies!
