I have been there 3 times in the last 5 years for a week each time and loved it.
The horses know their jobs so well and I learned so much in my time there. I had a days hunting each time as well XC sessions twice most days. It was exhausting but the best riding thing I've ever been on.
Thank god its not only me that gets all excited about the place .
Horse definitely know their job ... was put on a big 17.2hh ( im only 5ft 3 ) but he took me around that course and soooooooooo looked after me , it was the best ride I have ever been on, cant wait until tomorrow
There is alot of fun jumps .... like i said its been a long time since I was there , they have added alot of new fences ... Have a look on their website in gallery should show some fences ..
Love it down there

Have question that needs answered in soap box for you , as you would probably know
AIRC Hunter Trials are there. They ran a HT last weekend, with the East Galways, a few people in my club helped out. Said jumps were brilliantly made. Had a dummy in a bed, a jump that looked like a car etc.
A few friends of mine went hunter trialling there last weekend - they loved it! Some excellent jumps, and they had an option of doing some of the open fences in the novice class. Their Eventing Ireland course is also meant to be quite nice, was thinking of going cross-country schooling there soon, once the hunter trialling season finishes!
