Flu and tet - same batch number or not?

Can anyone tell me, when you have your horse vacc'd for flu and tetanus, do they have to be the same batch number on their initial jabs??

Just been comparing my two horses passports. One has all the same batch number for 1st, 2nd and 3rd vaccs. The other has different batch numbers for 1st, 2nd and 3rd vaccs. All of which done by the same vet at the same practice at the exact times needed.

unusual but possible. the vet could have picked up one from the same batch for the one horse and a different batch for the other but most vets would have used up all the first batch before moving onto the next lot. they do have a fairly long expiry date though so it could happen
