flu jab

Hi does anyone know if the flu jab has an effect on your horse? Should you give them time off after it or can you just carry on as usual?

they must not be sweated up in anyway so if theyre hairy at this time of year, dont ride them at all? thats as much as i recall from a recent jab.

My vet suggests no exercise for 48hrs. Mine we done last week.
