Morning Folks....just musing the above over and thinking that I may possibly just opt for having a Tetanus Booster this year, rather than the combined Flu/Tet vaccination.
Was looking for folks opinions/reasons of just having the Tetanus booster and those that have opted to drop the Flu vaccination.
We don't compete anymore, so just wondering, should I just go for having the Tetanus Booster and do away with the Flu part??
He's 15 years old this time and has been vaccinated regularly for the past 12 years. He is EMS.
We go off the yard 4 times a year on 'our hols' for a few days at a time, but there are no other horses on-site (beef & arable farm).
Apart from a vet visit and his metabolic status being diagnosed 5 years ago, we've been ever so lucky that we've not had any sick or sorry days since and only see the vet when he has his yearly 'MOT and vaccination'.
Would be grateful for your reasons for dropping the Flu vaccine if you have done this with your horse(s).
